September 15, 2000 - Jumpgate Team goes to the Olympics!

If you watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, you may have caught a glimpse of the Jumpgate Team sporting the Canadian Olympic Teams colours during the parade. What are those two guys doing there, you may ask. Well, Tom and Denis form Canada's Cut & Paste team, a new Olympic sport in this digital age. It first became obvious that Tom and Denis would excel at this during the construction of the Art Avenue website, which required an extensive amount of cutting and pasting - done very quickly.

At the Canadian Cut and Paste Team tryouts, Denis and Tom dominated the sport in all aspects, same page cut & paste, multi page cut & pasting, and the grueling cross-platform cut & pasting.

The oddsmakers in Los Vegas have place 6:5 odds that the Canadian Cut & Paste team will win Gold, and 1:3 that the Canadian Team will set a new world record. The USA team has 6:1 odds, the Brazilian team 8:1 and the Swedish team 6:1. Interestingly, the Swedish Cut and Paste Team is exclusively made up of members of the Swedish Bikini Team, leading to speculation that the Swedes are going to be attempting to distract the other teams.
