January 02, 2001 - Shadow Government has "Freaky Links" Cancelled

The FOX television series "Freaky Links" was cancelled back in late October, when it was discovered that one of the show's writers had been using the show to send messages to members of the "Resistance", the underground organization that is up to something, but thus far, we at Jumpgate have not been able to discover their purpose or goals. We suspect that they exist to undermine and expose the shadow government that rules the world and if this is the case, we applaud their efforts.

Unfortunately, an elusive Canadian security agency, CSE (Communications Security Establishment) realized what one the writers was up to after routine monitoring of "suspect programming", and alerted the Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2 is the Canadian Armed Forces elite counter-terrorist/special operations unit) and gave them marching orders; Enter FOX's headquarters and shut Freaky Links down.

At first, we were confused why the JTF2 would be sent into the United States. Then we realized that having a Canadian "counter-terrorist" force enter the US and enforce the shadow governments will would give the American government complete deniability.

When Jumpgate confronted FOX with this information, they were not very forthcoming and quite hostile toward us. After repeated harassment (we can be quite persuasive when we set our minds to it), a FOX official who we will call Lenny (not his real name) admitted that a groups of heavily armed "soldier-types" literally appeared out of nowhere, subdued FOX's security people in seconds, and stormed a FOX upper management meeting. The lives and well-being of the FOX executives were threatened, as well as the lives of their families. They were instructed to cancel Freaky Links immediately, or they would suffer the consequences.

So, Freaky Links was cancelled, and the Resistance lost an important and secure method of passing information along to its membership. Seeing as the writer in question has vanished, we can be fairly certain in the belief that he is being tortured for information about the Resistance. We certain that the Resistance is sufficiently compartmentalized to ensure that this one set back won't destroy the organization.

This can serve as a warning to all those who oppose the global conspiracy and as a demonstration of just how swiftly the shadow government can act when it realizes a threat is present.
