May 16, 2003 - Matrix Printers Sales Increases.

Because of the recent Matrix Reloaded movie, sales of dot matrix printers have increased dramatically.  Many stores that sell computer hardware have told us that all dot matrix printers have been sold out within 24 hours after the Matrix Reloaded movie was released on May 15, 2003.

It's expected that even online bidding services such as eBay may sell vast amounts of dot matrix printers soon.

When we spoke to several well know printer manufactures, they all told us that if the Matrix craze continues, dot matrix printers will make a huge comeback and replace today's ubiquitous ink jet and laser printers.

One dot matrix printer vendor we spoke to had this to say: "I always knew that dot matrix printers were way ahead of their time.  I believe that dot matrix printers paved the way to the World Wide Web dot com era and was the inspiration for the Wachowski brothers to make the Matrix movies.  It would not surprise me if the next hot domain extension would be dot matrix."
